My favourite walk is the walk between the train and the place I go birdwatching.  It's peaceful and I enjoy seeing how the scenery changes throughout the seasons.

I have to walk wherever I go.

At the bus stop or local co-op or Tesco.

As well as town or even better walking in the fields or the fishing lake

Brecon Beacons always amaze me—misty trails to Pen y Fan, peaceful waterfall walks, and those sweeping moorlands make every hike unforgettable.

We did the walk of the gods on the Amalfi coast at Easter. Absolutely stunning 🤩

I believe I should win the Garmin Venu 3S smartwatch to support my upcoming hike up Mount Snowdon because it would not only enhance my safety but also help me make the most of the experience. Tackling one of the UK’s most iconic peaks requires reliable tracking, navigation, and health monitoring all of which the Venu 3S offers. With its GPS accuracy, heart rate tracking, and altitude insights, I’ll be better prepared to manage my pace, stay on route, and track my performance. More than just a hike, this is a personal challenge, and having the Garmin Venu 3S on my wrist would be like having a guide, motivator, and safety tool all in one. It’s the perfect companion for both the journey up the mountain and my overall wellness journey beyond it.

I love to hike around the costal path in South Wales. Particularly Ogmore By Sea, and Southerndown Heritage Coast. Amazing throughout the seasons . Average 10 mile hikes come rain or shine

I love to walk along the Pennines as we basically live on them anyway!

My favourite walk is along Hadrian's Wall in Cumbria and over into Northumberland. You can just feel the history of days gone by. And at night it's a beautiful place to watch the stars.

I did a great loop from Edale train station out to Jacob’s Ladder in the Hope Valley, Peak District. Easy enough to navigate, especially with a downloaded OS map, but also plenty of moments that felt like you were exploring the wilderness across the moors!

The Waters of Leith are a perfect place to walk. Running for miles through Edinburgh, they provide a peaceful and secluded place for walking, as well as running.

Coniston Old Man from Coniston village.  Summited and then retraced my steps down the stunning Coppermines Valley as it was getting dark.  6 miles, very steep near the summit, more of a scramble.

Finished the evening with a pint of Dungeon Ghyll Stout in the Sun Inn.

THE CIRCULAR WALK FROM MY HOME IN CLAXTON, SOUTH NORFOLK, DOWN TO THE RIVER YARE, ALONG THE RIVERBANK, TURN LEFT AT ROCKLAND STAITHE, CARRY ON UP TO THE MAIN ROAD AND HAVE A BREAK/DRINK AT THE NEW INN (SADLY CURRENTLY CLOSED), THEN OVER THE BACK AND ACROSS THE FIELDS, UP TO CLAXTON CHURCH AND BACK HOME VIA HOME PIECE.  5 MILES IN ALL.  GLORIOUS SCENERY AND THE RIVER ADDS TO THE ENJOYMENT, PARTICULARLY IN THE SUMMER MONTHS WHEN IT IS ALIVE WITH BOATS OF ALL SORTS.

My favourite Hikes are along the south west coast path. And multi day trips around Dartmoor. I also have just started bikepacking. With plans to soon do King Alfred's way.

I enjoyed the Old Man Circular at lake coniston   we're novice walkers  but my hubby and  I thoroughly  enjoyed  the challenge  walking  to it  We did not complete it all as it can take 6 hrs  . We giggled all the way round at how out of breath we were . It was fun and we did a few hours ,not bad for beginners.

Lovely walk up to Roseberry Topping. Not too strenuous and the view over North Yorkshire is stunning.
