I love in the Southwest of England so there are so many beautiful hikes. We like to take the kids and the dogs to the Moors on weekends and sometimes we just pick a random wood and go explore! =)

I absolutely love Burnsall in the Yorkshire Dales. There is a beautiful 7 mile loop that takes in Linton Falls, and returns along the river with my favourite swim spot ☺️

OS maps is the perfect app for exploring

One of my favourite places to walk is The Cliffs of Magho in Fermanagh, Ireland - although I sometimes spend more time admiring the view than walking.

We live very near to a canal in Hampshire. It’s packed with wildlife, we have seen, deer, buzzards, red kites, herons, bats, voles, snakes, kingfishers, grey wagtails, tree creepers, wrens, hornets and even a turtle! Of course there are also the usual array of waterfowl and aquatic life. We found a superb use for one of your recommended apps when we found a small forest fire a few summers back. We used What Three Words to direct the fire service to it as we were a long way from recognisable features or roads.

I recently went on a beautiful walk in the lake district, where the views of the mountains and the lakes took my breath away. The paths wound through peaceful valley and over gentle hills. The fresh air, the stillness of the water, and the feeling of being surrounded by nature made it a unforgettable experience

My most memorable was climbing Ben Wyvis in the highlands. One of the easier Bens to climb and my first one.

Walking anywhere with my BF is always a pleasure. We could

be out exploring the hills, along a river or on the beach and it wouldn't matter to me

as long as I have his smile

laugh and company

An easy going 17 mile stroll from Felixstowe to Woodbridge taking in several small villages and hamlets, old churches, woods, marshes and lovely stretches of the River Deben, where the mudflats and reedbeds echo with the calls of curlews and lapwings. With good planning there is time to enjoy a pint or maybe two in one of the many old pubs in Woodbridge before catching the bus back home.

One of my favourite local walks is Fontmell Down or Win Green Hill. There something about being up on hills with views. I just enjoy being out and about preferable with a dog. Another favourite it's a walk in a deciduous wood.

I’m too old and sick to hike any more, but when I’m up to it, I love the Finsbury Park, to Alexander Palace lost railway walk.  (I was going to add pictures but can’t see how to!)
