Im an avid gig attendee and would LOVE to have a Pixel 10 so I can take some more brilliant pictures. My current Pixel 6 does a great job, but the Pixel 10’s enhanced zoom would make my pictures even better as I could get in closer to the action no matter how far I am from the stage!

I need a new phone to go with my new id sim 

I would love to win one. Then I can give it to my dad, he needs a new phone to be able to have his newspaper online 😁

I'm a retired professional photographer who has now swapped heavy camera equipment for my phone. But once a professional photographer always a professional photographer. I still love taking photos and would love to continue my photographic journey learning how to use A1.

I would love to win the pixel 10 pro because it has some beautiful features very slick design and it is a brand new phone which I need my old phone is now battered and running very slow with less memory and the picture quality is not great. 

The Made by Google event has just wrapped up for another year, and what a show it was! The team in California has been busy, and as we expected, they showed off the brand-new Google Pixel 10 family. The big story this year is definitely all the clever AI features packed inside to make life that little bit easier.

Google Pixel 10.

 

 

First up is the Pixel 10. This is the new foundation of the range, and it’s packed with some great stuff for everyday use. The camera system gets a real boost this year. For the first time on the standard model, it now features a proper 5x telephoto lens – a big step up from the digital zoom on the Pixel 8. It means you can get those really crisp, close-up shots without having to move an inch.

The AI inside is smarter too. A new feature called Magic Cue tries to guess what you need before you do, offering helpful shortcuts. Another clever touch is the new Camera Coach, which gives you little tips on-screen to help you line up the perfect photo. It’s all about helping you get the best shot without needing to be a pro. The whole experience is powered by the new Tensor G5 chip and feels super responsive.

If you're serious about your phone photography, this is where things get really exciting. The Pixel 10 Pro and the larger Pro XL take the camera to another level. The zoom capability is where you see a massive difference; it has been pushed all the way to 100x, which is a huge leap forward from the 30x on the Pixel 8 Pro, letting you capture details from ridiculously far away.

Video also gets some love with a feature called Video Boost, which helps you get super-steady footage, even when you’re moving about. The Pro models have an even brighter screen, making it much easier to see what you're doing on those rare sunny days here in the UK. And for those who want something a bit different, the Pixel 10 Pro Fold is back with some key improvements. It’s a more refined and robust design this time around. A key improvement on the original Pixel Fold is that this new version is properly IP68 water and dust resistant, which is a welcome addition for peace of mind in daily use.

It works just like before: a normal-sized phone on the outside that opens up into a lovely big 8-inch tablet screen. This makes it a real productivity tool, perfect for watching videos or getting a bit of work done with two apps running side-by-side.

Google also showed off the new Pixel Watch 4. The screen is bigger and much brighter, and the battery life has had a welcome boost, so you'll spend less time charging it. It's more than just a watch; it's a proper health and fitness companion, with deep Fitbit integration and new safety features.

And finally, for music lovers, they announced the Pixel Buds 2a. The big news here is that Active Noise Cancellation has finally come to the more affordable A-series earbuds. This is a real game-changer for commuting or working in a busy café, letting you properly immerse yourself in your music or podcasts.

A great prize! As a tech scared middle age nurse I have a geratic Huawei phone on its last legs and would love to upgrade to something which is able to take great photos and faster processing speed but have no idea where to start. A Google phone would take away my anxiety of what to choose and leave me stress free. 

I would love to win a Pixel 10 Pro because my S22 Ultra has got screen burn and I need to replace it.

Technology continues to astound

The new pixel 10 is yet another massive step forward in mobile telecommunications. I have lived long enough to have carried the brick into the wilderness, thought that was amazing. When the Apollo missions to the moon were carried out, late 60’s, early 70’s, the onboard computers were so inferior to the tech arriving in the new Millennia, they travelled by the seat of their pants, flying craft the Wright Brothers may have found easier to operate than using a Pixel 10. Many of us today, would not leave the house without their mobile phone, it does everything necessary for us to cope in our modern advanced technological existence. The Google Pixel 10 is the latest massive lead in tech, it will not be the last, but it has a distinct superior position in the market today. I have never kept up at the forefront of mobile tech, catch up is my norm, so perhaps taking on today’s ultimate device could be an transcendent indulgence.
