It has to be marinated chicken skewers with peppers, tomatoes and shallots. A few smoked mackerel at the end is always a winner too 😋

Sausages and mustard. Simply a barbecue is not complete without them. Take a fork and do a few holes in the skin so it doesn't crack and just salivate until done. And mustard is complementary to the flavour.

Favourite would be a selection of typical meats. But that's when going to friends’ BBQs. With my own top spec smart BBQ I'd love to try a Yorkshire pudding wrap stuffed with sausage, stuffing, and gravy, because even a BBQ deserves a Sunday roast upgrade!

Best thing to bring to a bbq is jokes, beers and the biggest chunk of fillet steak you can afford 🤪

I don’t ask anyone to bring anything to a BBQ I host. I am just happy to have these folk there, socialising, whinging about work, at the same time of having passionate discussions about football.

in the time where a persons largest battle is with themselves, these moments I cherish the most and wish they would continue for a long time to come.
