My phone number was supposed to have been ported over from my previous supplier (Vodafone) yesterday but this has only partially worked.
I can make / receive calls on ID mobile using my ported number but text messages to same number are not being received, instead they are still being routed to my old Vodafone SIM. Also in my iphone settings, it is showing the original ID phone number in ‘My Number’ not the ported number.
Also with my Vodafone SIM I can make calls using my ported number but I can’t receive on this number so the Vodafone SIM has nit been deactivated.
It seems like the number transfer has only partially worked and is in limbo between the 2 providers.
I have tried (twice) to get assistance via liv chat but no-one is offering any help.
Your “customer service” (quotes are intentional) is absolutely appalling! No phone support, why?!?
I would like this resolved this TODAY as currently my phone service is split between 2 providers and I am (presumably) paying twice for the same service.
If this is not resolved today then I will be cancelling tomorrow as I am still in 14 day cooling off period.
