1d customer keep gettong prank calls need new number


Hello how do I get to change my 1d number to another. I keep getting prank calls and calls no one speaks for last two week and still happing I would like to change my phone number.

This is what you need to do…….
 

1 - Get a STAC code. Text STAC to 75075. https://www.idmobile.co.uk/switch
This code is used to switch providers and terminate your existing iD Mobile service, without transferring your number. The STAC will be sent to you via text message. You can also do this online:-

In the iD Mobile App: Log in, go to "My Account" > "End my plan".
Online: Visit the iD Mobile website and follow the instructions to request a STAC.

​​2 - Obtain a Pay As You Go (PAYG) SIM from any OTHER network.

3 - Give your STAC code to the new PAYG SIM provider to transfer from iD Mobile to the PAYG network.

4 - Once the STAC code has been redeemed by the new network on PAYG it cancels your old contract with iD Mobile automatically, your final bill will be sent via email.

5 - Once the STAC code has been redeemed to the PAYG network allow 24 hours and then request a PAC code from them.

6 - Transfer your new number to the new iD Mobile plan via PAC code at the link below, once the transfer is fully complete your PAYG SIM will be disconnected and the desired number will be on the new iD Mobile account.

Note; With a new iD Mobile account, you'll need to register a new iD Mobile app/website account to using an email address that hasn't been used previously to register.


Unfortuantely, you can not just change a phone number on the account you hold now.

One network I can recommend to swap to, depending on the phone you have and if it is compatible  with their 4G/VoLTE service, is SMARTY:-

They also use the THREE network and have comparible prices to iD Mobile.

They both have Pro’s and Con’s:-
SMARTY - Don’t charge for MMS messages as they are included in their packages, unlike iD Mobile who charge for them.
iD Mobile - Have a wider range of devices that can connect to the VoLTE netwrok.

It’s a contract I have so it’s not possible to change my phone number? Sorry I’ve been with 1D for 8 months after my o2 contract expired but it’s my first time getting this must calls. But thank you for replying.
