I am looking at getting a phone with a SIM through ID mobile but using the SIM in my 5G router. Is ok to do or with there be limitations put on the speed and/or data for the SIM?

Speeds will be inconsistent due to congestion, latency will be high, and you can’t forward or open any ports. Other than that, you’re good. 👍🏻

I currently use Three, can you see it being any different?

Hi @ArronG

Thanks for getting in touch.

Unfortunately we are not able to support our SIMs being used in routers sorry.

If you do proceed with using the SIM and experience any issues, I am afraid we would not be able to troubleshoot the problem.

Thanks,

Natalie
