I have received an email to state my direct debit has been set up, does this mean my account has been activated or will I receive another email stating this.

Yes it would mean the account is active.

But @Ray Hume you would still need the SIM card or eSIM.

Then if you’re bringing your previous number with you you’d need to wait until your previous service providers SIM is terminated and your number is switched to your new iD SIM.

Or if its a new number and you have the SIM you could pop that SIM in now.

In all cases, if I remember correctly you get an email stating everything is ready - but if no email is sent you will get a text when its ready to use.

Okay @Ray Hume, guessing you’ve ordered a SIM-only plan, or bought a 24-month minimum term handset contract from iD.

In either case iD Mobile will dispatch an iD SIM.

At iD Mobile, SIM cards are dispatched activated and are ready to use upon receipt. Your iD account is active from the date your SIM is dispatched, whether or not you choose to create an online iD account to manage your iD plan and iD network services.

Hi @Ray Hume

Billing begins upon dispatch, it sounds like your order is on it’s way.
