Activated e-sim, But ID mobile number now showing for the physical sim.

Hi,

So I added an ID e-sim to my phone, to go along with my physical SIM on the Three network. The sim has added but I have an issue. The one labelled ‘3’ is definitely my physical SIM as when it is active I do a speediest with it which confirms it is on the ‘3’ network. Also, I disable it and use the other and it confirms it is on ID mobile… All good, kind of…. The issue I have is the 3 line is now showing my number as being the new ID mobile number?? it won't let me change it either.

Any help please?

Not too sure @Qountdown, but at least they’re both working! Perhaps if it is the 3 SIM showing the incorrect number, it’ll be worth contacting them?

EDIT: so turns out that is NOT my ID mobile number as I just had a separate text confirming my number with them. So what is this random number assigned to my ‘3’ account does anyone know? it looks like I'm still getting texts come through to my original ‘3’ number so no idea what this number is/means!

Hey @Qountdown,

Have you switched using a PAC from Three over to iD Mobile? Or are you wanting to use them in parallel.

Thanks.

Hi,

Using them in Parallel. Everything seems to be working. I can switch between the 2 networks, and still receiving calls on my primary number (3) and the ID mobile profile is also working well.

I’m just very confused where this random number has come from. I initially thought it was the new ID mobile number, but turns out it isn't!

Yeah I'll probably just leave everything for now as I don’t want to be on hold to them for 7 hours! I initially thought it was the new ID mobile number as I say, but then received a text saying it wasn’t.

Thanks anyway
