Activating SIM not working after 24 hours

I changed plans to a SIM only.  I haven't been able to use my phone now for over 2 days.  I received a new SIM yesterday and activated it.  It still doesn't work.

Have you tried both SIM cards and neither work? 

 

Are you getting any particular message regarding the outage? Do any bars of signal show?
