You can’t port a number between iD Mobile plans. You’ll need to either return or cancel the new plan and upgrade your existing one or port out the number you want to keep to another network and then port it back.

Give it to the network you want to switch to.

You’ve been told repeatedly that you can’t port or transfer a number within the same network. It needs to be ported to a different network.

    Hi @Sonia goldsbury

Kindly be advised that we’re unable to process number transfers from iD Mobile to iD Mobile, as the system does not support this and there is a risk that the number could be lost.

The only way to keep your number would be to either complete an upgrade on your existing account, or transfer your number to another network first and then transfer it back to iD Mobile.

I apologise for the inconvenience this may cause. If you’d like, I can guide you through the available options.

    Michael

Hi just following this thread. I had a sim only deal with ID Mobile then upgraded and ended up getting a contract deal with them for an iPhone. I figured this would be an upgrade but they sent me an esim with a different number on it rather than keeping my old number. So I assume I need to the three way porting using a cheap PAYG SIM card to move the number around. Thanks
