been charged in Morocco when i purchased £5 addona

I purchase at £5 1 day 2GB package but have been charged a substantial amount more.

We're sorry to hear you've received charges that you weren't expecting.

 

It's important to note that purchasing a £5 1-day 2GB Roam Beyond add-on only covers the data included within that bundle and for the duration of the add-on period. It doesn't prevent additional charges from being incurred if:

  • The add-on expires and further data is used afterwards.
  • More data is used than the allowance included in the add-on.
  • Calls or texts are made, as the Roam Beyond add-ons are data-only and don't include calls or SMS.

 

To completely prevent unexpected roaming charges, we'd recommend setting your bill cap to £0.00 before travelling. This blocks any out-of-plan usage that isn't covered by your allowance or add-ons.

 

You can check or change your bill cap in the iD Mobile app or online account by going to:

  • Bills > Manage Bill Cap
