I had an account with yous and cancelled it when contract was up, you continued to take money from my bank and I cancelled direct debit, you sent bills saying I owed £23. My mother has just passed away and completely forgot about it, I paid the bill a few months later and now I have an outstanding debt on my credit report and it is stopping getting me a mortgage. This debt has been paid can you please get it removed for my account.

Welcome to the Community!

Sorry to hear about the issues that you experienced and I am very sorry for the loss of your mother.

Did you contact us to cancel your contract or did you only cancel the direct debit?

In order for the account to be cancelled correctly you would need to contact us and submit a valid disconnection request.

If you cancelled your direct debit the contract would continue as normal and payments would fail leading to missed payments on your credit file.

Unfortunately if the late marks have been added to your credit file we are unable to change this but we can mark the account as settled.
