Biometric login

I have tried setting up biometric login on the app on my phone, using my fingerprint.  The app says that it is enabled but, when I try to login, the option to use bio does not appear.  I’ve seen comments on here from 5 or 6 months ago but it doesn’t appear to have been sorted out.  Can you offer some advice please?

What Make & Model device are you using and is it on the latest Software? Thanks.


Samsung A35 and yes it's updated regularly.

Can you please check if the fingerprint sensor is working: If the fingerprint sensor is not working properly, the fingerprint settings option may not appear. Try adding a new fingerprint or deleting and re-adding existing ones to see if the sensor is working correctly.
