Call merge not working

I have a Samsung S23 which is a supported device.  it's on Android 14 and ONE UI version 6.1.

 

when I try to merge a three way call only one person can hear hear me.

 

to merge the call I am dialing the first number letting it connect then tapping merge call and selecting a contact from my address book.   the contact is then added to the call but only one of the numbers can hear me.

 

how do I resolve this

Unfortunately, we don’t support this feature, it’s typically more of a Business grade feature whereas we’re Consumer. Thanks.
