Call to my ID phone number caller gets a "number not recognised" message

Hi

I am a 2 week in new ID mobile customer, I purchased a new phone and sim.

My old number was ported over a couple of days after my account went live. All seems ok, I can send/receive texts and calls, except for one phone number from another network, he can text me but when he tries to call he gets a message saying that my number is not recognised. I have restarted my phone several times, turned off wi-fi calling, he has done the same but the problem still exists. I have also checked to see if his number has somehow blocked on my phone but all looks ok. Do you have any suggestions as to what I can do next?

Hi @Jagman 

 

Is it just them who can’t call you or is it multiple numbers from other networks?

 

Are they able to delete you as a contact and try calling?

It is just this one number which is my sons phone that gets the message that my number doesn’t exist. I have deleted the network as suggested in other posts.

I will ask him to delete me from his phonebook and try again.

Made no difference, do you have any other suggestions? 

What could have caused this...something to do with my number being ported over perhaps?

Hi @Jagman,

If it’s just the one number and it isn’t with iD Mobile we would advise the caller checking with their network.

Please let us know what they advise and we can assist further.
