Can I add a LTE Galaxy Watch Ultra to my plan

I’ve tried to add a mobile plan for my Galaxy Watch Ultra but it says that it couldn’t set up your plan, make sure your phone is connected to a mobile network, then try again.

The phone is connected to my iD network, this worked seamlessly when with my 3 network.

Has anyone managed to add a watch to their plan?

Thanks

Mark

I don’t think iD Mobile offer a Smartwatch Pairing Plan.

Though it might be worth waiting to see if an iD employee can check on this, as (you already know) Three do and iD piggyback on Three. If they confirm they don’t then its another missed opportunity IMO.

Unfortunately @Mark Lang, iD Mobile eSIM products can’t be used in wearable devices.

Here’s a recent response on this subject from the iD Community Manager, @Daz_S

Hi,

Daz, Ande and Mathew, thank you all for taking the trouble to respond to my question, which is really appreciated. I must admit I forgot to check that it would work before taking out the plan, I wrongly assumed as they were tied in to Three it would be supported. I hope I don’t regret my decision as I’m now tied in for two years, hopefully they’ll add it sometime soon.

Honestly @Mark Lang it was no problem at all.

But if you’re within 30 days of opening the account, you could always cancel.

You’d have to pay for the usage up until you cancel and they should refund the remainder. Just leave the DD open until those funds are returned.

By the sounds of it you continued using your phone, so there’s no returns cost either.

Anyway its something to think about.
