Can’t call on new Iphone 15after switch to ID Mobile

Switched to ID Mobile yesterday from Vodaphone. Can’t now make calls on either and wishing I hadn’t changed.

Does your SMS texting and iD mobile data work, ​@Lynne Chiswick?

Has the iD Mobile 3G network been switched OFF in your area?

Yes SMS texting okay. Not sure about 3G. Will check. Did check coverage and advised 4G coverage is good for my area.

Do you VoLTE enabled on your phone?

Can you receive calls?
Is this the same if you try to make/receive calls in another area (when connected to a different mobile phone tower)?
If you can text and use your data but can’t make/receive calls from anywhere then it is more than likely that you are not connected to the VoLTE network.
4G is only a label for the 4th Generation phone signal. The type of network connection that is required for making/receiving calls is VoLTE/LTE (Voice over LTE).
Have you checked all the settings e.g. call barring. aeroplane mode etc are off/disabled?
Have you checked Apps/Phone/View 'My Number' to see if the details are correct?
As you have only just moved over it may take a bit of time for everything to work as it should so try turning your phone off and on again so that it reconnects to the iD Mobile network.

No I don’t seem to have VoLTE enabled.

I’m not sure how but after trying a range of different options my phone seems to be finally working!
