Hi I can’t make or receive calls again, same happened last week. Any idea what the problem is? I need my phone for work so this is frustrating again

Hi there ​@Jenny Iatalese 

 

I’m using an Android phone and its working fine here. I tried 7777 as a test and the call connects and I can hear the automated system. Not received a call as yet but assume this is also working.

 

Have you checked to see if there’s any known network issues at your postcode?

Thanks for the link ​@Daz_S  It says they’re working on upgrades and sorry for inconvenience. A message beforehand would have gone a long way ID mobile.

No problem Jenny, happy to help.

I’ve mentioned this more than once but let me say it one more time (with a little bit added) - who knows one day the penny might finally drop - iDM should implement a function whereby they notify their customers about known issues in the area the phone is being used. If they can provide theirs adverts on their app then a simply your local area is currently having network difficulties/upgrades would go way further than having to ask others for advice. Other providers even allow us to register our mobile number on their network outage page (during an outage) and theirs also sends regular SMS updates.
