can’t receive text from android phones

Is this happing in one set location or different location? 

Have you tried Turing off you iPhone and turning it back on again?

Have you got RCS messages enabled or is this standard test service?

Different locations, I have turned off iPhone , took sim out cleaned it out back in . Checked all settings all good , I was receiving texts up until Wednesday then nothing ? What is RCS  ? It’s frustrating as I need to receive texts from my elderly mum !!! Don’t know what else I can do as it just stopped all of a sudden 

RCS is a messaging service that was exclusive to Android. It is now supported by iPhone however the network has to support it also but iD does not at this time. They need to be sent you a normal SMS. I suggest the person who is messing you deletes the message thread and starts a new one. It may have been your previous network supported RCS so when they are sending you a message from the existing message thread it is trying to send it as an RCS message which you can’t accept. 

I moved provider in November 2024 to ID and was receiving texts absolutely fine up until last week ? Previous network provider was Three ???

Have you tried doing a manual roam? Instead of letting the network pick automatic change it to manual. When the list of networks comes up pick a network other than iD until you get an error message then repeat the above bit pick iD. This should force all your messages to come through. This can happen if you leave your phone on all the time. You need to switch your phone off for at least 30 mins every once in a while so it refreshes on the network.

Spoke on live chat today and a new SIM card is being sent out for me . As I have an iPhone it’s showing as verifying my phone number in iMessage ???

Please let us know how you get on with the replacement SIM.

With regards to the number verification it may be worth resetting your network settings, restarting your handset and try updating the iMessage number again.
