I have recently moved back to iD mobile and am unable to make or receive calls. I'm using an Xperia 1 ii. I e used iD with this phone previously.
I've tried everything in the FAQ, airplane mode, manual roam, recreated the APN, reset network settings, even got a replacement SIM but nothing has worked. Other network Sims work fine, I've tried 3 different.
Has anyone resolved this?
Next step would be factory reset which id rather not do, in fact I'd probably leave iD instead.

I've managed to solve this which should prove useful to other Sony Xperia owners.
It seems that while I could use LTE, VoLTE wasn't actually enabled (neither was WiFi calling) but both of these options aren't viewable normally. No idea why.
So you have to do a bit of manual messing to get these enabled.
The below video allowed me to enable both VoLTE & WiFi calling. Now this isn't something everyone should attempt as you need to download some apks and use ADB debugging. So it may be worth trying to get Sony to enable these. But reading the Sony forum this is difficult.
Have you tried another Three or iD SIM on the phone to test the network? Does the phone support 4G or VoLTE. 3 the partner network has switched off a lot of 3G around the country recently so that could be the reason. Also check the network service status here to see if any issues in your area have been reported.
I know you have stated that VoLTE (4G Calling) is enabled but it is worth a 2nd look:-
How to enable VoLTE in Sony Xperia 1 II?
To enable VoLTE
Make sure your specific Xperia® device model and network subscription support VoLTE.
Find and tap Settings → Network & Internet → Internet → tap Settings icon (Gear icon) beside your connected network.
Tap the switch beside 4G Calling or 5G Calling (if applicable) to turn the feature on.
Apologies, I don’t want to come across as condescending but sometimes it’s the simplist things that give the answer you need.
Your phone may have previously worked because it was connecting to the 3G network and now that has been turned off it no longer works. If you can send/receive texts and use data it usually means that your phone isn’t connecting to the (Vo)LTE network.
