id phone network is rubbish, cant connect to internet outside of wifi network

Firstly the SG A13 is on their compatibility list so that shouldn’t the problem

 

Secondly for that postcode it currently states this

We're working on fixing an issue in this area at the moment. We're sorry for any disruption this may be causing.

We hope to have things fixed as soon as possible and will add any updates here.

 

Thirdly, the 3G has been turned off at that postcode, if you knew about this and it was months ago then this does not apply, however if it was turned off recently then this does apply

I moved over to iD as I kept running out of data with another provider.

Not a big user, but even trying to use a loyalty card without wifi sometimes proved an issue.

Since being with iD I can’t access the internet at all without wifi

It’s not at home I have issues - as I have wifi. The problems arise when I’m in stores in Macclesfield - i.e. Caffe Nero, SK10 1DY; Caffe No 1 SK11 6NE; Everlast gym SK11 6JD. Had issues last October at Blackpool Pleasure Beach -  FY4 1EZ - couldn’t access their website to sort ticket issues. It’s such an issue I’ll probably go back to Vodafone.

I really don’t know.

I don’t travel around much - and when I do travel out of town – I rarely find the need to go online unless shopping.

As a phone service iD works fine - without issues.

I’ve experienced the issue in any number of stores - such as M&S in Handforth SK9 3PB, TKMaxx in Manchester M1 1WR. I’ve got into the habit now of synching my phone with the free shop wifi (if available) then completing the transaction. I’ve been caught off guard so many times, trying to access the loyalty card at the last moment.

I never had this issue with Vodafone - using the same phone - just used to run out of data too soon.

It’s only inside buildings that I have the need to access the net with any regularity.

I’ve just been out into my garden, beyond the reach of wifi - the phone shows 3 bars of reception - but it can’t access the net.
