Firstly the SG A13 is on their compatibility list so that shouldn’t the problem

Secondly for that postcode it currently states this

We're working on fixing an issue in this area at the moment. We're sorry for any disruption this may be causing.

We hope to have things fixed as soon as possible and will add any updates here.

Thirdly, the 3G has been turned off at that postcode, if you knew about this and it was months ago then this does not apply, however if it was turned off recently then this does apply

I moved over to iD as I kept running out of data with another provider.

Not a big user, but even trying to use a loyalty card without wifi sometimes proved an issue.

Since being with iD I can’t access the internet at all without wifi

It’s not at home I have issues - as I have wifi. The problems arise when I’m in stores in Macclesfield - i.e. Caffe Nero, SK10 1DY; Caffe No 1 SK11 6NE; Everlast gym SK11 6JD. Had issues last October at Blackpool Pleasure Beach -  FY4 1EZ - couldn’t access their website to sort ticket issues. It’s such an issue I’ll probably go back to Vodafone.

I really don’t know.

I don’t travel around much - and when I do travel out of town – I rarely find the need to go online unless shopping.

As a phone service iD works fine - without issues.

I’ve experienced the issue in any number of stores - such as M&S in Handforth SK9 3PB, TKMaxx in Manchester M1 1WR. I’ve got into the habit now of synching my phone with the free shop wifi (if available) then completing the transaction. I’ve been caught off guard so many times, trying to access the loyalty card at the last moment.

I never had this issue with Vodafone - using the same phone - just used to run out of data too soon.

It’s only inside buildings that I have the need to access the net with any regularity.

I’ve just been out into my garden, beyond the reach of wifi - the phone shows 3 bars of reception - but it can’t access the net.

I’m in Teignmouth south Devon, I can’t connect to the internet when I’m out of the house, I have an iPhone SE my friends have no issues with we of vodaphone I’m on 4g, I’ve reset network settings, turned phone on and off, checked for updates, this has been happening since I joined about 3 months ago, I was unable to make or receive calls for most of a day last week

I’m beginning to wish I had not joined I D

now, I know I can’t carry on like this only having internet when in the house on the wifi

The good news for you is the sim only plans are 1 month contracts, unless you chose to join on a 12 month contract

does the ID app say you have data left in your contract?

Hi L0rdvega, yes I’m on a month to month, I’ve got data left because I can’t use it 😖 I’m probably going to leave but it’s a pain in the ass setting up again with a new provider with pack numbers etc, I’m going to do a bit more digging before I commit next time, as I’m not the only person who has this problem with ID
