cant make or receive calls

I've not been able to make or receive calls now for over a week, I've been to Turkey so I wasn't that bothered as I was with family. I've not had any data roaming on just used the hotels wifi for whattsapp/Facebook etc and all fine. It's a samsung s21. The lte/5g4g/3g is on. It's the sim that came with the phone. My mobile number is showing is settings. If this doesn't get resolved very soon I will be looking further into cancelling my contract without paying a single penny

As you have LTE as an option for connection to the network then it should work with VoLTE(4G).
Do you have a ‘toggle’ to turn on VoLTE?
e.g.


Did your phone work on the VoLTE(4G) network before you went to Turkey? Or has the 3G network been turned off in your area during your visit abroad? Have you checked the coverage checker for your area?
Under the SIM card status does it say ‘LTE’ for both ‘Mobile voice network’ and ‘Mobile data network’?
Have you had a chat with customer services?

It may be worth requesting a replacement SIM to see if that is the problem.

Before jumping ship to a new provider it may be worth taking some time to do an internet search of the problem as you may experience the same complication even after moving.
