Question

Cant receive or make incoming calls over wifi, only with wifi off

I cannot make or receive any calls when I am at home, connecteded to the wifi. I have to disable wifi on the phone and use 4G to make/recieve calls. Why? I have checked, and my phone - Google Pixel 7 - is all enabled for wi-fi calling. Any suggestions? It never used to do this, only the last month or so. Nothing has changed at home - same provider, same router etc

@mglennon The best thing to do is to reset or re-enter your WiFi network into your phone and save it.

Turn off your mobile data and now see if your phone connects to your home WiFi now.

This is one of the easiest things to do for now.

Thanks Joe. I have reset the network on the phone previously. It works for a short period on wi-fi calling, then reverts after an hour or two to not working

Does WiFi calling work when connected to any other WiFi network? If so try rebooting your router at home.

Hey there @mglennon, we’re sorry to hear that.

What phone do you have please?

What’s your full postcode?

How long have you had issues for?

Does it affect only calls?

Thanks,

Tyler
