Cant setup voicemail, 'mailbox name' not recognised

Hi I'm trying to setup my voicemail for the first time and its asking me to enter a 'mailbox name' followed by the hash key, but when I say my name and press hash it says mailbox name not recognised and hangs up after 3 attempts, please help?

How are you accessing your voicemail? Have you tried via dialing 123?
