My Samsung Galaxy A40 suddenly stopped charging this evening. It’s about to die.. I have tried cleaning the charging point but it made no difference. I have tried different charging leads. It’s been fine up to now. Help please!

I am thinking what would be the best, easiest and most efficient way to help in the current situation. Usually the best thing to do would be to pop in to your nearest Carphone Warehouse or Team Knowhow for diagnostics and sending for repair if needed but now this is not possible. I think maybe contacting Samsung Directly would be good option as they might be able to fix it for you but you might need to send it to them.
