I am due to upgrade but the phone chooses it gives i do not want. The phone i want shows on the website for a package i would be happy with. How can i do this wihtout cancelling and restarting new contract??

You can also discuss your upgrade options with the iD sales team,
Contact sales on 020 7139 1397, between 9am - 6pm.
However, it’s unlikely iD will change the upgrade offers available through your iD account.
If your offers aren’t suitable, unfortunately you’ll probably need to start a new contract to get the phone you’re after.
