Having started an up grade to get 4g as 3g is soon to be turned off I find that,4g reception is insufficient to be able to use phonecalls from my house. Highly unacceptable Any suggestions?

I have and you wouldn't believe it,but my house and 3 adjoining houses are not covered on the 4 g map. That is out of the whole local area. " Sods Law"!!

Sorry to hear that.
If you are out of contract it may be best to move to a different provider that can keep you connected at your address.
