Cost of leaving ID mobile - confused

Hello,

I took out a 2 year contract mid December 2022. I get the bill mid month and payment is taken at the end of the month. This means I have 2 more payments to make before the 2 year contract is finished. (Confirmed with the payments taken from my bank and ID mobile bills)

 

I currently pay £28.26 a month, and today when I check "Leaving ID mobile" in my account my estimated final bill is £79.38. I have no charges on my account outside of the usual monthly cost

 

Can somebody please explain where this £79 is coming from? I tried asking on live chat but they couldn't explain why or attempt to help..

 

To confuse things further when I checked on the 9th October my estimated final bill was £62.28. How has it increased?

Do you have a current balance outstanding?

I would advise contacting the Live Chat Team and they can provide a better breakdown of the cost.

Hi Kash,

As stated in my post I have no charges outside of my monthly contract amount and I have 2 months remaining in my contract.

 

As I've said I've contacted live chat who were unable and unwilling to shed any light on the situation.

To quote the live chat transcript "I am so sorry however bills are calculated systematically. I am unable to confirm why.."

 

Please advise how best to escalate this. I'm concerned that ID mobile can generate a bill but be unable to explain it.

Hey there @Leavingthenetwork, the final bill is an estimation, so may change over time, however, it should increase.

 

What date does your contract end?
