Despite multiple attempts to contact the trade-in support team, I am yet to receive the additional promotional payment for trading my pixel 7 for a pixel 9 on ID mobile.
The responses I have received so far have been (I'm afraid to have to use such strong terms) useless.
I filled in and submitted the required promo form before receiving the initial trade-in payment for my old phone and have the reference number to prove it.
I received my trade in payment on the 19th September. This was accompanied by an email stating that I would be contacted within 24 hours (in red text so must be important!) to inform me of my eligibility for the additional promotional payment.
No email materialised. After a few days I emailed support enquiring why I had not been contacted, and the response was simply to send me the same email again (confirmation of trade-in payment with red text stating I would be contacted within 24 hours). I have not been contacted.
I chased this again this week and the response I received simply said 'Trade-in payments and promo payments are paid separately'. I fact I was already aware of, and which should have been clear from my previous responses. I can I only guess that whoever responded did not actually read my email as it contained all the details including my reference number.
Short of now escalating this to the complaints phone number, I'm at a loss of what to do. Support clearly don't want to help, and the where abouts of this 'email within 24 hours' that I have been told would arrive twice now is a complete mystery.
Can someone please contact me to sort this out?
