Delay in receiving text

My husband and I are both with ID, we are both having issues receiving texts. Some come through fine others don’t come through for days! Causing a lot of stress and confusion with elderly parents. Is there a Network issue? We’re in the PO8 postcode region.

I’m new to ID and definitely regret leaving my previous provider!

    Unfortunately ​@VW1977, sometimes after switching networks, it can take some senders a while to recognise optimum network routing for SMS text messages to your mobile number. 

    In addition, the GSM standards for SMS text messaging do not guarantee message delivery.

    When you go into phone settings, does your phone number show correctly?

     

    Have you tried restarting your phone, and also resetting network settings?
