I have accidentally cancelled my direct debit and my app is saying there is a problem logging into it. How do I reinstate my direct debit ?

Have you tried to reinstate the DD via the online portal instead?
The above uses the exact same details as the app.
If that works, then it might be worth deleting app’s cache, then data, delete the app and downloading it again (using the same credentials you already use). Sometimes the app throws a bit of a paddy and removing it and installing it again can make it work again.
