Why has a direct debit for my old contract been taken out as well as new direct debit for my new contract

Hey there ​@Scrim363, if it’s a new contract and not an upgrade, then your old plan wouldn’t automatically end, and you’d be charged for the old one until it’s cancelled.

 

Your old payments would only end and transfer automatically to the new plan and new amount if it was an upgrade.

Have you taken out a new contract instead of an upgrade?

New contract they said  but I thought it was an upgrade,  it's now for unlimited calls and texts and data for 24 months @ £26.99 a month.  My old one was 36 months @£14.97a month.  They said I'd get my final bill on 21/8
