I’m on a SIM only deal with ID and I’m looking to upgrade for more data. If I add a plan to the basket and proceed through the checkout, is that all I need to do? Do I need a new SIM delivered or anything delivered? Or is it all done over the ether as it were?

+26That depends on whether or not you’ve following the official iD Mobile process to change or upgrade your existing plan
It’s very easy to order a new plan, instead of changing/upgrading your existing plan.
If you order a new plan, you’ll get a new SIM and new mobile number.
I’d recommend reading the following:
Although some articles talk about upgrading handsets, the same applies for SIM only upgrades.

I’d recommend double checking and making sure that you are processing an upgrade/plan change and not a new plan entirely.
