E Sim for Canada

Hi , I am recently new to idmobile network and didn’t realise when I signed up to my mobile contract that I couldn’t purchase add on data to use when I visit my family a few times per year who live in Canada .

So I have looked into how to purchase an E sim to use there’ but when I go into my mobile settings and press add eSIM my iPhone 16 plus phone is not allowing me to add a new e sim, the symbol is just going around and around .

I used an e sim when I initially signed up to idmobile network so is this the problem  maybe ?

i desperately need to use my phone during my travel in Canada any advice would be greatly appreciated.
