I have a new e-sim and I want to keep my old number from a physical SIM. How do I do it?

You’ve got an hour for today to chat to them via live chat or any other time listed below.

They can provide the transaction number AND can sort the PAC out too.

iD’s Live Chat team are available 9am - 8pm Monday to Friday,

and 9am - 6pm Saturday, Sunday, and Bank Holidays.

Hi @Kevbb, are you able to provide more information on this?

Are you wanting to obtain a replacement eSIM for your existing iD number, or are you looking at transferring an iD number from one contract to another?

How do I get a replacement SIM or eSIM? | iD Mobile Community

If the latter option, unfortunately iD Mobile don’t support internal number transfers. To transfer a number a PAC code is required. These can only be used between different network providers.

Hi Lauren, I'm a new ID customer and got my ID e-sim today. I want to bring my number from O2 (physical SIM) but don't know how.

Thanks for explaining @Kevbb

What we’ll need is a PAC code, submitting this will put through a request to transfer your O2 number over to iD.

To obtain a PAC code, you’ll be able to text ‘PAC’ to 65075 from your O2 SIM. (You can also call them directly).

After you have this PAC code, you can submit this via the form below:

I hope this helps!

Hi Lauren, I have the PAC but the form asks for a transaction number which I can't find in any of my emails.

Hi @Kevbb, the transaction number will begin with a 4.

However, if you’re unable to locate this, a member of the live chat team will be able to access the account and provide it.

If you type into the chat box ‘speak to an agent’ or select this offer, you will be put through to a live advisor.
