Flashing icons on the signal bar


Ive been with ID since around Sept last year and to be honest i am not impressed with the signal strength, relying mainly on WIFI calling

I have noticed the 2 icons at the beginging of the signal bar flash on and off, sometimes it has one, then 2, then none and i dont know what this means - what do these 2 ‘up down’ icons mean? Whatever there never seems much improvement!

Usually this status icon means mobile data is being transferred (i.e. downloaded/uploaded), ​@amandac701

What does your handset/phone user guide say?

Im definately not downloading or uploading and i find it is something to do with the signal, i have Honor 200pro and it didnt come with manual as most dont these days! I dont know the name of these symbols to look them up . . does anyone know please?

Unless you’ve turned off the mobile data option on your Honor 200 Pro, any of the apps installed and running on your smartphone might be using the mobile data connection.

oh wow its been bugging me for ages, i was convinced it was something to do with the signal . . but no the signal is just bad!! Thanks for your help!
