Since moving a year ago I can only make calls and connect to the internet on id_mobile in onr corner of my bedroom, bit of a shame my friends are on 2 other tariffs get strong signals. As I will end my contract in a couple of months just wondering if anything can be done as I would have otherwise stayed with Id mobile. I see there are devices called signal boosters but assume as they are expensive this couldn’t be offered as a possible solution.

Unfortunately iD Mobile don’t sell a signal booster, @toneharb.

The UK mobile network operators solution to bad/no indoor coverage is a WiFi Calling service.

Assuming you’ve got a handset iD support for WiFi Calling and a home Wi-Fi network, iD WiFi Calling might solve the coverage issue at your location.

Living in a mobile not-spot, I rely on using my service provider’s WiFi Calling service, which works well for me.

Hi @toneharb,

Welcome to the Community!

Sorry to hear that your coverage is not as expected.

You can view the Help Hub at the link below for information and assistance on coverage.

https://community.idmobile.co.uk/coverage-network-70

As @andewhite advised Signal Boosters aren’t something that we offer.

It’s frustrating to have limited signal! A mobile signal booster in the UK might help, even if it's a bit pricey upfront. They’re great for amplifying weak signals indoors. You can check out options here: Best Mobile Signal Boosters in the UK https://www.uctel.co.uk/blog/best-mobile-signal-boosters-in-the-uk. Also, switching providers to one with better coverage in your area could be beneficial long-term.
