When I upgraded my phone I got a curry’s gift card as a gift. It arrived yesterday but when I’ve checked the balance it says something has gone wrong. So I tried phoning and the automated service said it was “inactive”. Anyone got any ideas?

You need to use the iD online Live Chat service, to speak to a customer adviser ​@Z_30   

The advisers work until 6pm on weekends - just tell the 24/7 chatbot you’d like to “talk to a person”.

Thank you, I gave them a message and I’ve been told to go into store to inform them about it being inactive. Thank you for your response
