giga consumption

Hi there, I have recently started using of mobile SIM, and I noticed that giga consumption showed in my account is false. Just in two days it says I have consumed over 25 Giga of data , my usual use of mobile never exceeds few hours of total navigation on whole day something like 3 to 4 hours in total.

With my previous operator I have never seen such things, is it normal, I mean if it remains like this, that means my data package of 120 g will be finished in 5 to 6 days, 

Can anyone guide me what to do, or I have to see other options ..... Before even starting.... ,😁

Sorry to hear this, the consumption showed in the iD Mobile app wouldn’t be live updated, however it wouldn’t be showing more consumed than it actually has. It may be worth adjusting your device settings to not allow things like updates over data, not downloading as much etc.

 

It’s worth noting that if you’re moving to 5G where you previously had only 4G, you may be using a lot more quicker than previously.

Hi Tom, thanks for your response, measures you have mentioned, I do have checked, the reason why I say so is that you know there are apps other than ID mobile which tell you the data consumed. Figures are different.

Previously, I was on three, and data shows daily consumption which wasn't so high like now, i have doubts that ID uses some method of doubling the data, it was in practice somewhere in past with three too. If you use an unlimited data plan, you can notice it easily.

 

I would still like to have some clarification from ID mobile, I have just started with them,  I want to be worry less as 120 giga is not something which you consume in 10 days, and my app says I have used in these 4 or 5 days around 40 giga. That's means rest will be finished in next 10 days, and there starts the game, pay more to have more. ...,.... I will simply look for other options ....
