Google Pixel 8 developed known


I am 10 months into a 2 year contract, my Pixel 8 has developed the ‘green line’ - US link below, but the internet is full of similar issues.

How do I get this repaired? I can only see reference to handsets under 30 days old.

That would be the standard window of time for a repair, we wouldn’t be able to advise or promise it’d be done any quicker.

We’d recommend taking the device directly to Google or to your local Currys store.

I took it to Currys. They looked at me blankly and said they could have a look, but I would be without my phone for 28 days. 

Obviously, this is unacceptable. I have raised a complaint and waiting for contact.
