Halifax OPT calls


For a long time I’ve had problems receiving Halifax automated phone calls. My partner with iD is in the same situation. I See there was another thread in the forum (I think it’s locked).

Back a year or two this was a bit of a nuisance with some coming, others not, but from roughly a year ago, I have 100% failure rate.

It’s a bit of a problem, as it normally means they have to send a letter home each time. Has anyone experienced these issues too?

Text messages work fine. Just their calls never come.

In most cases customers experience issues with text messages being received.

Have you checked with your bank to see if there is any issues with calls?

Have you checked with your bank to see if there is any issues with calls?

I'm having the same issue with Lloyds and NS&I and still waiting a solution 

Asked ID about this a month ago and they said it would be fixed in 48 hours and here I am still getting locked out of my accounts.

Poor customer service or no customer services with ID .

Good luck getting it sorted

I am getting the same problem and clearly it’s a problem from the networks end. Comically, I requested a code through the post, and immediately after I receive a text confirmation from my bank to say this is happening… clearly they have my number correct and working for other texts.

They called but I was at work so asked them to call back within the hour, this was 2 days ago and I'm still waiting for them to ring me back again.

No, I will not, this has gone on long enough. ID said they would call me back and they haven't. This has been going on since April and not solved

I feel now I will have to make a complaint against ID and see if that gets it sorted
