Has Anyone Had the 3 Months Free Apple TV+

I've seen a lot of posts on here from people who either have never received the link or had one that doesn't work. Has anyone recently managed to get the 3 months free Apple TV+? I was about to switch to ID and the free 3 months is a big reason to. ID however are owned by Currys, and unfortunately Currys are well known for not sending the same offer when you sign up for their Perks emails, so I'm not convinced it will work with ID either.

It’s just a generic offer, nothing special about it. None of the links iD Mobile sent worked for me as my Apple account has utilised similar offers in the past. So, if you've had any free days, weeks or months of Apple TV in the past, then depending on how many offers you've taken advantage of previously these links may not work for you too.

Thanks for your reply but this isn't the issue people are having, the link doesn't work at all or they don't get an email with one. Also ID say it's for new and renewing Apple TV+ customers,it's only existing it doesn't work for. The link would still work for existing though, it would just be when signing in they'd be told they weren't eligible. I didn't realise ID was owned by Currys so I don't think I'll be switching to them anyway.

It depends on who you ask. Some users have reported that the offer doesn’t work due to the issue I highlighted, while others encounter a UID error. If you encounter the issue I raised, the only solution would be to set up a new Apple account. If you get a UID error, you’ll need to wait for iD Mobile to send you new links for use in the UK (same if you don’t get the email).

Hello @MrsCS

Thank you for getting in touch and for considering iD Mobile.

The majority of the links that are sent do work but like most digital processes, we cannot guarantee there won’t be instances where errors occur.

If for any reason the link provided does not work, we have steps in place with Apple to ensure that you are provided (if eligible) with a new link to redeem your offer.

Please let us know if you have any further questions.

Thanks,

Natalie
