Question

Has anyone received their refer a friend reward or is it a scam ?

I'm interested to know whether anyone has actually received their reward for refer-a-friend scheme- or scam (trying to establish which is the correct term for this???)

I've been trying to get my reward since January. The person who is supposed to sort it out (Aklambio ) has required all sorts of information about the successful referral that normally I would not expect to have to provide… the person says it's because they don't have access to ID Mobile database because they are third party… okay fair enough… but… I've provided all the obscure references and other details about the referral contract and now…CHIRPS (utter silence except bird's twittering in the trees...)

So, before I write this referral reward claim off as a scam, I just like anyone who has received their reward to let me know how long ago this was and how they did it ?

Thanks

Hey there @NAnagor, thank you for reaching out.

The refer-a-friend bonus is not a scam, and of course we offer this to all customers who follow the correct journey.

As you’ve mentioned, this is offered via Aklmabio, and as you’ve said, you will need to continue discussion further with them for updates.

I hope they can help you to receive your reward.

Thanks,

Tyler

So this 2 months since the referral. No reward, only this message from Aklambio:

Thank you for your reply.

We have now created a Support Request (ID 158254) for you. We kindly ask you for your patience, since the processing time may take some weeks.

Rest assured that you will be notified by us via email if/when your reward is validated.

Your account at aklamio.com hasn't been confirmed yet.

To confirm your account, please follow these steps:

- open this Confirmation Link: https://wallet.aklamio.com/en#route=confirm_account&confirmation_token=UT2w_THERB8U-2hxx6j5
- choose a password (please make sure your password contains letters, numbers and special characters; e.g. Aklamio=123)

We sincerely apologise for any inconveniences.

Best regards,

So basically, they are suggesting that I now register with an entirely different platform in order to qualify for my reward for referring someone to ID mobile!!! and apparently, if i register i will still have to wait several weeks- (presumably, in the hope of the person simply forgetting about it or giving up all hope).

I've never heard of such nonsense.

Punchline: there is no reward. It's a straight up ploy- a reward scam.

Hello @NAnagor

We are sorry for any delays but as advised, the referral scheme is managed by Aklamio.

Unfortunately, we are unable to expedite the rewards but as long as the terms have been met, this should be applied.

Thanks,

Natalie

Well apparently now I've been told that Aklam.io needs to get authorisation from ID Mobile and that it can take up to 12-16 weeks to get my reward ?! That's July 2025 latest… let's see. I've put the date in my calendar, so I will not be forgetting to update the Community as to the final verdict, but so far… it's not looking like a legit scheme

Hi @NAnagor

I’d recommend the following;

https://idmobile.aklamio.com/

“When will I receive my reward?”

“Your reward will be confirmed as soon as it meets the conditions of a successful referral and your friend or family member has fully paid two bills. This can take up to 120 days.”

Update: verdict looking more and more like a rewards scam

Here's what they sent me from Aklamb.io :

Hello

We received the message that the order reference number you provided is too long.

The number we require has the following format:
Order ID (9 digit number starting with a 1) or Transaction number (9 digit number starting with a 4)

We kindly ask you to provide us with one of these two numbers in the correct format. We will then proceed with reviewing your support request.

Kind regards
