Since I installed ID mobile on my iPhone, I have been able to use it only on rare occasions but I can use WhatsApp when I am walking far away from home in our rural idyll. I try and make calls using ID mobile from home and the call ends as soon as is dialled, there is no ringing tone.

But when I immediately call the same number from our landline is rings and is answered. 🤬.

My husband has Three on his mobile  which works perfectly from home. 🤬

Our market town has WiFi but it doesn’t work for me 🤬

I have two numbers on my mobile data, one is my chosen number that I brought over from EE and the other is one assigned to me by ID mobile .

i need to sort this out. There is something wrong

PLEASE HELP

Thank you

@WelshWife I think you have deleted the iD eSIM instead of the EE eSIM. Delete that eSIM off the phone so you have no eSIM’s whatsoever and then order a replacement iD eSIM and install it. Also check your SIM card slot on the side of your iPhone as you may have a physical EE SIM card in that. If so remove it. You’re getting no coverage cause the eSIM/physical SIM showing in the picture is the EE one and that’s been disconnected!

You need to delete the EE eSIM as you no longer use that since the number has ported over to iD.

Hi @WelshWife  have you managed to delete the EE SIM as @MZone  suggested?

Has this helped?

Dear MZone and Sian

I have deleted the eSIM personal number given by ID mobile, and now have one chosen number that I brought over from EE. Yet checking the Network provider on Settings, it shows it is still EE. What on earth is going on? I pay ID mobile but it shows EE.

Yours in some desperation . Any help given is very much appreciated.

I’ve been to see the mobile phone expert in town. He said there is a problem with the network coverage, it is better if I get a physical SIM from ID mobile. So thank you MZone and Sian for your help.

Hey there @WelshWife, it looks like you have deleted the iD SIM instead of the EE one as advised by @MZone, so you’ll need to request a replacement SIM card via the instructions on the link sent above by @MZone.

Thanks,

Tyler
