hi, just switched over to id mobile,my old phones disconnected but my old number has nor switched over,ive turned the new phone off and on a couple of times,but still shows my temporary number, anything I can do or just wait.

Wait.
It can take up until 10pm tonight for the port to complete.
If by 10:30 to 11pm and it’s still not showing restart the phone as you’ve already tried.
