Why is my bill so high , I have just upgraded and it’s well over the amount it was suppose to be?

+24Pro rata billing. Your bill does say what you’re being billed for, read the dates.

It doesn’t say nothing I carnt find anything to explain this .
PRO RATA BILLING? does this basically mean first bill is always high?
why that much of ho £20 is surely not necessary
