How do I block incoming texts?

Hi there ID community.

I've been getting texts from a company with no number displayed. The texts aren't for me, so I think someone has used my number in error.

The texts include a web link, which I'm not going to click! But no other contact details.

I'm about to go abroad outside the 50 included roaming countries, so I don't want to keep receiving these almost daily texts.

Is there any way to block these texts?

I hope you can help.

Hey there @70s gal, thank you for reaching out.

It’s likely that this is scam/spam text. If you want to block them, then you’ll need to click on the contact and block them, or add them individually to the block list via settings.

If you don’t want to be charged, simply ensure your bill cap is set to £0.00, and then you can’t be charged for any out of contract charges.

Thank you,

Tyler

Thanks Tyler.

Unfortunately, there's no number to block as the texts are arriving with the company name not a number, and there is no block option for this in my menu or settings.

It's a no reply text too, so I can't contact them.

It's not spam exactly, the texts are meant for someone else who has 'accidentally' used my number for setting up accounts!

At the moment I'm blocking all unknown callers, which seems to be working, but isn't ideal.

Thank you for your suggestions though.
