How do i cancel my name from the bill

I took out a pay as you go SIM on behalf of my son. And paid the first direct debit. 

He is now going to take over the payments but I can't cancel as the text messages go to his phone. 

 

I gave cancelled the direct debit but don't want to get bad credit for non payment. 

I can't find any way of actually contacting anyone. I tried dialling 7777 but as I'm not on ID mobile myself the call doesn't go through. Is there a customer service number to call from non ID mobile numbers? 

 

Can't even live chat as the app sends verification codes to his phone number

1. If you set up a direct debit, it will pay monthly, not pay as you go.


2. Cancelling your existing direct debit before setting up a new mandate will result in an unpaid bill, restricted services, and damage to your credit file. 
 

3. You claim you’re not an iD Mobile customer and refer to the number as not yours, but you are and it is yours.

Basically I set up the direct debit in my name and I joined on a SIM only on behalf of my son. 

 

The phone number belongs to him. So I can't get the verification code to get into the app using the ID mobile number. 

 

That is my issue. We have fallen out.

If the Direct Debit is in your name and you cancel this, as ​@WelshPaul  has advised, this could have a negative impact upon your credit rating.

The other team that may be able to support with this is our vulnerable customer line.
